Bajaj Auto Started Sending the KTM 250 Duke and RC 250 Overseas

It's been less than two months, when the Austrian two-wheeler maker has showcased two quarter-liter sports motorcycle based on the well-famed already available concepts. The KTM has put the 250 Duke and RC 250 on display at the Tokyo Motor Show, Japan. The Tokyo Motor Show was being held in the last week of March, 2015 and since then both the sports motorcycles have created hoopla in the Indian automotive industry. The sad part of the news is that both these sports motorcycles are being manufactured at the Bajaj's Chakan facility, located in Pune, Maharashtra; but, there is no confirmation about the arrival of these two in the Indian two-wheeler industry.

Moreover, the Bajaj Auto Ltd. has started exporting both the KTM 250 Duke and RC 250 to a few of the international market. Starting from the Bajaj Auto Chakan plant, duos are making their way towards the Hong-Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Turkey. Although, the international launching date of these two bikes is not yet decided by the maker, but believing the sources, both will go on sale by the end of the fiscal year. The Indian launch of these two is still in vague and we hope that the Austrian maker will soon come-up with something requisite.

KTM RC 250

Talking about the cosmetic makeover, the KTM 250 Duke looks similar to the Duke series of naked sports motorcycles and the KTM RC 250 is sharing its bodywork with the RC Series of fully-faired sports motorcycles. As of now, both are readying for the Japan launch, which will be going to happen in the month of June, 2015. The KTM 250 Duke will be expected to be priced at 550,000 Yen (Rs 2.88 Lacs) and the RC 250 will nearly cost 620,000 Yen (Rs 3.25 Lacs).
