Getting an all new paint scheme, the Bajaj Avenger 220 cruiser flaunts its rejuvenating side via a golden beige color. The Indian two-wheeler giant has launched its popular tourer in this fresh color and it is totally a must watch. No alterations are being done on the price perspective i.e. it will cost same as the other 220cc variants. Besides, the cruiser will be on sale alongside the divine black paint scheme.

The traditional cruiser looks absolutely quaint by this gold paint all over the body like on the fender, fuel tank and the side panels and truly matches the style of this classic machine. Mechanically, the bulky Avenger 220 sits on a tried and tested 220cc DTS-i motor, which is there on the Pulsar 220 claimed to deliver a power output of 19BHP and maximum torque of 17NM. The engine transmits power via a five-speed gearbox. To improve the bike's usability in urban areas, the engine has been tuned to offer better low-end and mid-range torque.

Talking about the market share of Bajaj's Avenger cruisers, 150 Street has been performing quite well for a long period, selling more than 15000 motorcycles in a month. On the other side, the 220cc variants are not far behind from the race as well. A fairly good share of Avenger 220 can be seen in the Indian auto-mobile sector, seems like the masses are really appreciating the tourer. Well, whether this new paint scheme will create some magic or not to the sales figure of Bajaj, only the time will tell. But, the approach done by the domestic automaker is really very appreciating.
