Bentley Motors has unwrapped new Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Black edition globally, an option for those who are seeking for a luxury performance sedan in a more dynamic and darker shade.
The Bentley Flying Spur V8 S Black edition is nothing more than a fascinating trim of the outgoing model with some cosmetic enhancements and that’s all. And the use of Black accent from carmaker is remarkable across the car. Along with this, the features such as mirrors, grille, the section around the windows and door handles with black treatments add a sportier appeal to the Flying Spur V8 S. And the huge seven-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels complete the same. Other than these, a choice of red and black calipers are provided by the auto major.
While inside the cabin, the ambiance is all black as the car gets piano black veneer in the layout and a three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel. The contrasting stripes of stitched leather hide that garnishes of the four seat’s center panels and the headrest as well, giving it a lively interior look. The headliner bow that runs through the centre of the roof also gets the colour combo. Still, if you are not amused with all this, an option for a different colour combination with a range of interior colours and colour splits are also provided by the Bentley.
Mechanically, the Black Edition continues with the same twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that is being offered with the standard Flying Spur V8 S. The engine pumps out power 528PS of and 680Nm of torque in association with the eight-speed automatic transmission and the power transfers to the tarmac from an all-wheel drive system. The car easily completes the sprint of 0-100Kmph in 4.9 seconds and can attain the top speed of 306kmph.
The price for this special edition model has yet not been revealed by the carmaker, but expectations suggest that it will be costlier over the Flying Spur V8 S.
