BMW Concept 101: A Craving K1600 Bagger

The German motorcycle maker has recently revealed a concept machine at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, which was being held on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. Talking about the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, it is a competition of elegant classic and vintage cars which will be taking place since 1929. Moreover, the BMW Group Classic is one of the major participants in the competition; showcasing its vintage cars and motorcycles. However, this time, the German Motorrad has come up with an all new concept motorcycle named as BMW Concept 101. Basically, the BMW Concept 101 is an advanced version of the BMW K1600 Bagger.

Detailing about the BMW Concept 101, the discovery of its names came directly from its engine specification. The concept motorcycle is powered by a six-cylinder motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 1649cc (101 cubic inches). The firm’s flagship cruiser almost packs up a 101 cubic inches, which is also shared by the K1600 GT and K1600 GTL Baggers. The BMW MOtorrad has come up with a perfect blend machine, combining the German performance and styling in an accurate manner.

Cosmetically, the BMW Concept 101 left the bulkiness somewhere behind and acquires an all new sleek, stylish and shimmer livery along with a wooden touch. The front cowl, fuel tank and saddle bags are the lucky components which have gone through the wooden influence. The Roland Sands Design plays a major role in the production of the BMW Concept 101 prototype, as it has crafted some exclusive parts of the Bagger manually. The RSD parts are wheels, clutch cover and timing chain cover; which also carries an RSD as well.

The carbon fiber silver livery with a wooden accent proves its majesty as the firm’s flagship Bagger. Moving towards rear section, the LED taillights over the saddlebags will leave you with no-words. The exhaust tail can be said as a beautiful piece of custom craftsmanship. In other words, the BMW Concept 101 can be said as a perfect meld of German performance, lavishness; giving you a distinct and remarkable cruising experience.
