BMW G310R and G310GS Buyers Will Get 20 Days to Decide Post Price Announcement

After a long interval since the models’ unveiling in front of the audience, BMW Motorrad India has commenced the bookings for both the BMW G310R and G310GS earlier this month. The company was asking the token amount of INR 50,000 in order to book any of the mentioned models. The official pricing for any of BMW G310R and BMW G310GS is not revealed yet by the bike maker.

Besides, the KTM 390 Adventure is also set to launch soon. Which made the enthusiasts thinking of price tag to decide from the models in adventure segment. The BMW Motorrad India come out with the solution, 20 days time that will be provided to the buyers to decide. They wanted to go with their booked model or want to cancel the booking.

As per the dealers' sources, the token amount of booking is fully refundable within this given time duration.

Both the bikes-G310R and G310GS are entry-level products from German bike maker in India. Under the fuel tank, both the trims share similar 313cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. The Euro V compliant engine comes coupled with a six-speed gearbox that helps in generating the peak power of 34bhp at 9,500rpm and the maximum torque of 28Nm at 7,500 rpm. With this powertrain, the motorcycles can attain the top speed of 144kmph.

Aesthetically, the company will provide the colour choices including Black, White, Metallic Blue and White Base. Further, the motorcycles will feature muscular fuel tank, single piece seat, Metzeler tyres, 300mm front and 240mm rear discs which will be in association with dual channel ABS. Whereas, the suspension setup will encompass USD front forks and adjustable rear monoshock. The motorcycles will be 158kgs in weight (Kerb).

The manufacturing of both the models will be handled at the brand’s Indian partner TVS Motor’s production facility in Hosur. The BMW G310 R will compete with the likes of Benelli TNT 300, Bajaj Dominar 400 and the 2018 KTM Duke. Whereas the G310 GS will lock its horns with the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan, and the set to launch KTM 390 Adventure.

Both the models are expected to fall in the pricing vicinity of INR 3-3.5 lakhs.
