BMW M3 and M4 Spotted in India, Prior to Likely Launch

The most rumored India bound cars from BMW, that is M3 and M4 coupe have been spotted in India for the very first time and the likely launch of the these cars is possible within a couple of months. These car earlier debut at the Detroit Motor Show 2014, and after the show, the company is launching them worldwide in phases. The BMW India officials also have declared this year as the “M” model year and later this year, the company will launch the facelift version of the BMW M5 as well.

Both the cars, that is M3 and M4 are powered by the new generation engine with 3.0 Litre capacity alongside 6-cylinders and twin turbochargers. This new engine is able to produce 431 bhp power at 5,500 - 7,300 rpm and 550 Nm torque at 1,850 – 5,500 rpm. The cars will get the 6-speed manual or the 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission that will take the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds with the top speed of 250 km/h.

The weight of these newly developed models has also been kept under 1500 kg, which is because of the carbon fiber used in manufacturing. The price of the car would be around INR 1 Crore and that will make the car a competitor to the like of Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and Audi RS 5.
