The Germany-based premium motorcycle manufacturer, BMW Motorrad, which has officially started its operations in India last month, with the consecutive launch of three outlets in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, has now opened a new showroom in Ahmedabad. The Ahmedabad dealership has been started in association with Navnit Motors, which was an authorized BMW Motorrad’s motorcycles importer in the country with Mumbai and Bengaluru sales outlet.
The brand-new dealership that is located at Titanium Square, Thaltej crossroad will only offer sales aid, while, the SG Mall, Thaltej situated facility will supply the after sales service to the BMW owners. At the outlet, the visitors will find all the models of available BMW Motorrad range which includes R1200 R, R Nine T Scrambler, R1200 GS, R1200 RS, S 1000 R, R1200 GS Adventure, R Nine T, S 1000 XR, R1200 RT, S1000 RR and K1600 GTL. Altogether, the best-in-class post sales ownership experience will also be provided to the customers by offering international standards of Sales, Service, Spare-parts and Business Systems.
At the inauguration event, Mr. Sharad Kachalia, Director, Navnit Motors said, “With our association with BMW India for more than a decade in the country, we see new opportunities in Ahmedabad with BMW Motorrad. All the models in the BMW Motorrad’s product lineup has been brought to the Indian market all the way from Germany via CBU (Completely-Built-Unit) route. While the much-anticipated G310R and its G310GS adventure sibling are expected to launch through CKD (Completely-Knocked-Down) units by the 2nd half of this year. The auto giant is planning to establish a CKD facility at their Chennai manufacturing facility.
