BMW Rnine T landed on Indian Soil, Base price to be Rs.23.5 lacs

The German jumbo BMW Motorrad has brought their sports café racer Rnine T to India. The unveiling event happened in Mumbai, where company publicized the price of this bike. Buyers can get the new vehicle at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 23.5 lacs. Bringing the bike on the road will cost them 3.5 lacs more and this makes it around 27 lacs. The bike is designed in a café racer format and has good retro look appeal to attract Indian audience despite of being very expensive as other manufacturers of the category offer their products at quite a reasonable charge.

BMW Motorrad Rnine T introduced in India

The BMW Motorrad has placed this bike among Indian customers with an 1170cc twin cylinder, air/oil cooled boxer engine which develops 110 BHP of power and the torque comes out to be 119 Nm. The gross weight of the vehicle is 222 kg, which is assembled on a tubular steel frame. The fuel tank can hold upto 17 litres of the bike’s meal. With all these things, the rider can stretch this bike beyond the speed of 200 KMPH. Doing so, it will make out 22.22 KMPL of mileage as the company claims.

The BMW Rnine T has been seen in its Gannet custom built avatar few days back. This was possible because of the highly customizable structure of the bike which allows its owner to perform experiments with its looks. As this motorbike is designed for a café racer platform, the rear end of the vehicle is crafted with a room for modification. It can be either removed or can be attached for pillion rider. The model currently on sale, comes with a glossy paint finish and the Akrapovic exhaust unit which have made it too expensive for Indian terrene.
