CFMoto 400GT Sport Tourer Unveiled

All new sport-tourer, CFMoto 400 GT has been unwrapped by the Chinese manufacturer in its country.

Apparently, sharing style cues from its sibling the CFMoto 650MT, the 400GT obtains featuring such as a tall adjustable windscreen, wider fairing, a twin LED headlamp setup with an LED strip at its fascia. For rear view, the mirrors are mounted on the fairing of the motorcycle. Whereas, ride related information will be provided on bike via a full-colour instrument console. In order to carry luggage or belongings, the CFMoto is offering an optional pair of hard case side panniers.

The CFMoto 400GT draws propelling power from a 400cc, parallel-twin engine. The mentioned powertrain is borrowed from the 400NK streetfighter. It churns out the maximum power of 42.2bhp and 34.4Nm of torque via a six-speed gearbox. The mill is a reworked iteration of a 649cc engine from the Eider CFMOTO Police 650TK with short-stroke, that indicates the arrival of a 650GT anytime soon. The 400GT mounts on a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Front wheel placed dual discs and a single disc at the rear in conjunction with ABS handles braking. The ABS is a standard fitment. The owner can fill up 17 litres fuel in the bike which weighs 210kg.

MInd you, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer is in alliance with KTM with 51 percent stakeholding. Both the bikemakers entered into a joint venture called CFMoto-KTMR2R last year. The popular designer Kiska which has designed for prominent names like KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles crafted the 400GT. The motorcycle will be available to purchase in the global market within a few months. Whereas, its availability in India is not confirmed yet. The only thing we can do is wait for an official announcement.
