Honda motorcycle and scooter India has launched their new scooter Activa-i which is available in the market at Rs.44200. It is the most trust worthy model of Honda in this segment. Its price is less by Rs.5000 in comparison of the most selling model Activa.
It has same 110cc engine with 8.15PS@ 7500rpm capacity and 8.74Nm@ 5500 torque. Combi brake system, maintenance free battery, viscous air filter and tubeless tyres are the similar features as Activa. Honda has promised that this scooter will give 60 kmpl mileage and the company has used Honda eco technology to increase the mileage. It has 18 litre space under the seat along with this the ground clearance of the vehicle is 165mm according to Indian roads. Previous vehicle had 153mm ground clearance.
It is designed according to women so ergonomic grab rail is given by which you can stand it by 15% less power. On the occasion of launching, company president and CEO Keita Muramastu stated that the company has introduced this new scooter with the strategy of keeping itself at leading position. HMSI produces three gearless scooters Aviator, Dio and Activa. Their engine power is 110cc and price is between Rs.44000 to Rs.53000.
