A test mule of Chevrolet upcoming MPV, Spin has been spotted in India. It was earlier showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo and is expected to be launched in Indian car market by the second half of this year. Once arrived, it will take on the rivals like Renault Lodgy, Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio. Moreover, the car has already been made available in Indonesian market.
Dimensionally, the seven seater MPV measures 4630 mm in length, 1953 mm in width, 1683 mm in height and wheelbase of 2620 mm. Also having a boot volume of 162-litres that can extend to 864 litres by folding third row seats and can get maximum volume of 1,608 litre by folding all the seats.
Well, all the India bound details are not confirmed yet, but it may come with similar features like ongoing model. As per the details, it would be powered by the same 1.4-litre and 1.3-litre diesel engine that could be mated with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the car can also be propelled by a 1.2-litre and 1.5-litre petrol trims, which are expected to be offered in the country.
It is not confirmed, but the Spin could go on sale between a range of INR 7.0 Lakhs to INR 9.0 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). Well, all the details are likely to be revealed soon by the company. Stay tuned for latest updates of the same unit.
