Datsun India has released the limited edition model of its entry level hatchback Redi-Go in the country to celebrate the festive season. Named as Redi-GO Gold, the special edition is on sale at an economical price sticker of INR 3,69,737 ex-showroom pan-India. Available in three colour options of Grey, Silver, White, this Gold edition is being offered only for the T(0) variant.
As the name suggests, the model has gold essence cars’ inside-out. At the skin, it can be witnessed on bonnet, rear and on side profile. While, inside the cabin, furnished with features such as audio system, Bluetooth, reverse parking sensor, ambient lighting app that offers liberty to change light as per your mood, the car gets gold highlights on black leather seats.
Beneath the front end, this new redi-GO Gold Edition is blessed with the shared 1.0 liter Intelligent Spark Automated Technology (iSAT) engine does propelling duty on the Renault Kwid. In association with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the mill sends power output of 67bhp and 91Nm to the rear wheels.
In its retuned state, the engine returns an improved fuel efficiency of 22.5 kmpl as against of Renault Kwid’s 22.04 Kmpl mileage.
As rumored, the redi-Go range can get the fitment of Automated Manual Transmission(AMT) anytime soon this fiscal. But as now, there are chances the model to get CNG option.

Other than rolling out this Gold edition, the carmaker is offering a range of discounts and benefits scheme on redi-Go variants including 0.8 litre and 1.0 litre variants. There is an attractive rate of interest- 7.99 percent for redi-GO buyers with upto INR 13,000 benefit. The corporate benefits are upto INR 2,000 with free insurance and an extra benefit of INR 6,000 is specially for government employees. While, a number of buyers can get a gold coin on purchase of any Datsun model this Diwali.
