Datsun to Re-enter Sri Lanka in September with India-made RediGo

Datsun is all set to re-enter Sri Lanka this September by introducing the India-made RediGo with a goal to expand its footprints worldwide. The hatchback will be delivered via Associated Motorways (Private) Ltd. (AMW).

Reportedly, the model, which is going to be exported to the country in question will be manufactured in India. It is AMW who would further deal with the distribution and sales of the hatch in the island nation. This long-time partner of Nissan is a dealer network, which manages the task of shipping vehicles in the global market, which now does the same for the RediGo sales from the first week of September 2016. The dealer has this strategy of establishing five sales and service outlets respectively in Sri Lanka over the course of one year.

Datsun's key values – Dream, Access and Trust - are designed to accommodate the needs and aspirations of up-and-coming customers who seek attractive styling, modern engineering, worry-free ownership, and an engaging driving experience. We are delighted to return to Sri Lanka with Datsun redi-GO to expand our offer in the largest vehicle market segment to a new generation of Sri Lankan customers who are ready for something new and exciting.”

We’ll get to know about the variant-wise prices of the RediGo as it proceeds closer to the launch date. As far as the price of the Indian version is concerned, it is being on sale at a price bucket INR 2.38 lakh. Perceiving this, we can anticipate the Sri Lankan price would be multiplied by 2.5 times as the car will arrive as a CBU unit.
