India's first supercar Avanti's has been spotted many times testing on the roads recently and the speculation were on high that the testing version could go under the production as well. Well, the rumors are becoming true as the details about the car are out before its expected delivery sometime next year. Being publicized as the super car, the biggest challenge was its ground clearance and DC has managed to dodge this hurdle by keeping Avanti 170 mm above the ground. There are many other features of this car which just has made sure that this actually is going to be an Indian super car.
Like talking about the engine, Avanti has mid-mounted 2.0 Litre 4-Cylinder turbocharged petrol oil mill which will be producing 250 hp power and 360 Nm of torque. There would be a 6-Speed manual transmission gearbox as well, which will be sending the power to its rear wheels. It's a car for 2 and to offer them the best driving comfort, there is a double wish-bone suspension system, both at front and rear. The safety has also been taken care off with all disc brakes and ABS technology.
Also, like every other super car, DC has manufactured the body of Avanti with the carbon composite to keep the weight nearly 1600 KG. There also are LED lights with bi-halogen head lamps to in exteriors and tech savvy dashboard inside the car. The price of this car is expected to be around INR 37-40 Lac, though earlier it was near INR 35 Lac. But still, it's a good choice for them who want a super car with Made-in-India logo.
