When Wagener was asked to describe the design of the next E Class he quoted it as an “all-new design that is much more beautiful and modern, and much cleaner than even the C-Class and S-Class”. Reports suggest that the new E Class will be 55 mm longer and on the inside, its dashboard gets two wide displays for the driver and COMAND infotainment services, a flowing wood trim with multiple small HVAC vents while its lower section, which includes the center console, appears to be inspired by the smaller C Class. Other features include ARTICO leather upholstery, Burmester audio system and ambient lighting.
