DSK Benelli has reached Indian shores in the first quarter of the fiscal year, 2015. Initially, the firm has come-up with five motorcycles, christened as DSK-Benelli TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT600GT, TNT 800 and TNT R (TNT 1130). The TNT R is the segment ruler in the Indian product portfolio. It is muscle sports motorcycle offered by the Italian manufacturer. Italian Makeover:- There's a lot to describe about the cosmetic makeover of the DSK-Benelli TNT R. Being a segment ruler and the firm's Indian flagship, it is a conspicuous product offered for the Indian enthusiasts. The angry beast is designed around a front tubular trestle frame with aluminum at rear; highlighting a little from the middle section, offering you an incredible solo riding experience. The puffed-up fuel tank gets a pinch of Italian flavor with the additionally supported black colored grille, bodywork having a badge of TNT 1130 and sharply designed blinkers just below that. The minimal bodywork looks more aggressive with the pouffe styled headlamp.
Muscular Mechanism:- The DSK-Benelli TNT R gets an in-line three-cylinder motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 1131cc. The Powertrain is combined with a liquid-cooled motor and the power transmission to the rear wheel is done by a 6-speed transmission. The 1131cc displaced engine is tuned to throw out a churning power of 155.5 BHP @ 10,200 revs and 120 Nm of torque at 8,400 RPM. The engine has got a trademark of Benelli.
Additional Toppings:- The DSK-Benelli TNT R has equipped premium quality suspension in order to provide optimum riding quality. The firm has installed fully-adjustable upside-down front forks; catered by Marzocchi and monoshock at the rear offered by ZF Sachs. The braking duties have been taken care by twin floating, radial mounted monoblock disc brakes at the front and single dia disc brake at the rear. The braking system is catered by Brembo. Being a liter-class sports motorcycle, the firm has installed Anti-Lock Braking system on the motorcycle.
Talking about the exhaust system, as it is equipped with an in-line three-cylinder engine, it gets a three-into-one exhaust tail, which is placed just below the seat. Carrying 16 liters of fuel tank capacity, the motorcycle weighs on the tip of 202 kg. The firm has given an upright riding posture to the rider while riding this modern street sports motorcycle.
The DSK-Benelli is offering pretty attractive paint schemes for the TT R enthusiasts. The DSK-Benelli TNT R (TNT 1130) has made its official appearance in the country carrying an attractive price tag of Rs 11.81 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
