Ducati launches Smartphone Application Named Ducati Link

Ducati Link that is a new smartphone application is developed by the Italian marque in collaboration with e-Novia, a Milan-based software company. The application offers the Bluetooth connectivity in order to record information such as lean angle, power delivery, acceleration and speed. All this ride related important information is sent to the application via connected Electronic Control Unit that can further be used to analyse the performance of the motorcycle. The application is being provided for both the Android and IOS users.

In addition to this, the application allows the rider to save the traverse routes along with the pictures and comments. These details can also be shared with the co-riders on the trip. In other aids, you can tune the electronic of the motorcycle such as the riding mode, ABS and Ducati Traction Control directly from the application. Other than this, it also reminds you of upcoming bike’s service by displaying the owner’s manual and Ducati Store locator.

With this application the manufacturer allows all the Ducati models to gather and share ride related information and images. But only the Multistrada 1260 series has the freedom of complete data exchange among them. On a positive note, Ducati confirms the availability of data exchange function on other models anytime soon. As of now, the Ducati Link app has been made available for the global markets only. We hope, its Indian arrival will take place soon in coming future.
