Ducati Monster 1200S: The One Millionth Motorcycle From Ducati

The Italian Superbike manufacturer has recently touched a new milestone of its career. The Ducati has rolled out one million motorcycles from its production facility. The Ducati Monster 1200S has become the one millionth motorcycle, which was rolled off from the production line of the firm's Borgo Panigale Plant. The Ducati's Borgo Panigale facility has finally crossed the million figure carrying six zeros. The million milestone was being touched by the Ducati Monster 1200S, which was ordered by Ducati loyalist Ernesto Passoni.

Ducati One Millionth Event

On this occasion of the completion of one million production line, the firm has organized an event to celebrate the victory of the Ducati motorcycles. The CEO of Ducati, Mr. Claudio Domenicali has attended the celebration of the one million milestone along with two Audi top heads, Luca De Meo (Member of the Board for Marketing and Sales, Audi AG) and Prof. Rupert Stadler (CEO of Audi Group). Mr, Claudio Domenicali handed over the Monster 1200S to its 47-year old owner, Mr. Ernesto Passoni. The event took place at the Audi City Lad Downtown, Milan.

Ducati Monster 1200S

Mr. Claudio says, "Between 1946 and today we have designed, built and delivered one million dreams that have become reality to Ducatisti. To deliver the millionth bike produced directly into the hands of a passionate Ducatista is an incredible feeling and an incentive to continue along our growth path".

The Audi-owned Italian firm was established in the year 1946 and since then, it took nearly 7 decades for Ducati to touch the one millionth production milestone. Talking about the Ducati Monster 1200S, it was first being showcased by the maker at the 2013 EICMA motorcycle show, Milan. And, at that time, the Superbike was awarded with the most beautiful motorcycle showcased at the motorcycle show.
