Ducati Monster 796 S2R Rolled out in Malaysia, Prices Inside

The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer has recently introduced a new monster motorcycle for the Malaysians. The Ducati has launched the newly acquainted Monster 796 S2R in Malaysia carrying a price tag of 64,888 Malaysian Ringgit (nearly Rs 11.95 Lakh). The Monster motorcycle was proposed at the ongoing Malaysian MotoGP at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia. The third Asian Ducati Week was also held at the very same place. The Italians are working to widen up their network all across the globe.

The Ducati Monster 796 S2R is built around an L-Twin Desmodromical cylinder accompanied with an air-cooled engine carrying an engine displacement of 803cc. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission and is capable to generate a total power of 87 BHP @ 8,250RPM and a peak torque of 78Nm @ 6,250 revs. The stopping power has been taken care by 4-piston radial caliper disc brakes at the front and 2-piston caliper at the rear, incorporated with ABS as standard.

Ducati Monster 796 S2R

The riding ability has been improved by introducing Showa forks at the front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. The suspensions are linked to a single-sided rear swing-arm, which also enhances the beauty of the motorcycle. The Ducati Monster 796 S2R has come up carrying a sporty livery in a color combination of white and racing red. The red colored alloy wheels matching up with black colored seat and the stripes over the fuel tank are much more enough to give this beast a sporty look. The round-shaped headlamps and the flaunting red-colored chassis of the motorcycle will surely engage your eyes.

Ducati Monster 796 S2R

The Ducati two-wheelers are being manufactured in Thailand and then they get imported straight to Malaysia, as a CKD unit. With the wide range of motorcycles, the Italian firm is planning to sell out more than 1000 motorcycles in the coming year, including the new launches as well.
