Ducati Introduces Monster 797 Plus in India for INR 8.03 lakhs

Ducati India has introduced the Monster 797 Plus variant in its existing lineup. The company put the model on sale at the pricing of INR 8.03 lakhs (ex-showroom). If compared it with the standard Monster 797 model, the Plus variant is carrying the similar price tag. The Monster 797 Plus will be the only variant to be provided in the available range of Monster streetfighter in Indian lineup.

Based on trellis frame, the Monster 797 Plus is an aggressive offering in terms of styling. Draws designing inspiration from its bigger siblings, the Monster 821 and Monster 1200, the bike gets muscular fuel tank and compact design. If the differences from the standard Monster 797 is considered, the Plus variant receives the only inclusion of a fly screen and pillion seat cowl as fitment. Other than this, the colour theme on the mentioned elements is in contrast with the fuel tank and front fender that is pretty appealing for eyes.

The fly screen and pillion seat cowl can also be added to the standard Monster 797 at the expense of around INR 36,000. Besides, the loaded 803cc, L-twin engine performs the propelling duties with the rolled out 72bhp and 67Nm of torque. In terms of rivalry, the Monster 797 will go in competition with the likes of Triumph Street Triple S and Kawasaki Z900 in India.
