Looks like another adventure touring motorcycle is getting prepared!! Ducati- A well-known appellation in the motoring industry is probably readying a scaled down version of the 1200cc Multistrada. An exclusive spy shot of the same has been captured in Europe, which divulges the bike was undergoing test runs.
The new Multistrada might get a powertrain of the new Hypermotard 939. As scrutinizing much details from a sole spy shot was quite a tedious task, still, we managed to grab a couple of apparent elements. The bike takes the trellis chassis and a host of styling cues from the bigger boy Multistrada. Ditching the single-sided swingarm from the litre-class variant, the new model has been considered to get the traditional cost-effective stuff. Novice riders can feel safe via a lowered seat height, while the engine is pretty small as well thereby reducing the kerb weight of the bike.

The engine has been borrowed from the Hyperstrada 939, which apparently means the power that gets generated would justify the capabilities of an adventure touring bike. The powertrain is expected to be a Euro 4-compliant Testastretta L-Twin motor, which might be loaded with attributes such as ABS, traction control, and riding modes.
Being a middleweight tourer, the new Multistrada will share the pie with other litre-class rivals in the segment namely, the Honda Africa Twin, BMW F800GS, KTM 1050 Adventure and the Triumph Tiger 800s. Ducati’s aggressive strategy to launch more and more bikes is pounding the production process and therefore we can witness the launch of new adventure sportster very soon.
