Before even the Geneva Show 2015 started, the Ferrari 488 GTB was one of the car that were anticipated most for their launch. Now, the time has come and the company has displayed its 458 inspired new super sports car 488 GTB. However it would definitely a huge task for the new car to repeat the success of its predecessor, but I guess it'll get through this as the design, look and performance of this new runabout is simply awesome to describe in one word. The manufacturer has focused on the aerodynamics and cooling part of this car the most and thus helped to meet better performance quotient.
Talking about the car, ti has new aggressive front fascia, large air intakes, re-designed nose and much more. There are new side vents as well which help the car get cooled easily. On rear, the car has revised tail-lights, new air outlet, and re-formed rear diffuser with dual exhaust system. Powering this car is a 3.9 Litre twin-turbocharged engine, producing 660 bhp and 760 Nm torque. Mated with a 7-speed double clutch gearbox, helping it to sprint to 100 km/h in 3.0 secods with the top speed of 330 km/h.
The company has said that this vehicle will go into the production from September 2015 and the price of this car would be decided by then only. Well, let's just enjoy the show until the price comes out and I guess many enthusiastic are looking forward to it.
