Ferrari Launches GTC4Lusso and GTC4Lusso T in India

Ferrari has brought the replacement of FF Supercar, the GTC4Lusso and its V8 sibling - the GTC4Lusso T in India. The models are introduced in the Ferrari Indian lineup at the price sticker of INR 5.2 crore and INR 4.2 crore (ex-showroom, pan-India) respectively.

Fundamentally, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso is a facelifted FF with the host of cosmetic enhancements. It now features a much focused rear fenders, altered sides, a new rear diffuser, a roof mounted spoiler and a new front grille. Most of these changes are made to offer a more aggressive and aerodynamic stance. Dimension wise, there are no changes on the supercar. Though, the first time ever, the Italian marque is offering a number of engine option under one body style.

Under the hood, the GTC4Lusso is loaded with the same 6,262cc, naturally aspirated V12 engine borrowed from the FF. But the engine in question has been tuned to generate the improved power figures of 680hp, around 30hp over the FF model. The gearbox in connection is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. With this engine, the car is capable of attaining the acceleration of 100kmph from standstill in just 3.4 seconds, that is 0.3sec faster than the FF.

While, the sibling GTC4Lusso T, that is focused at the younger clientele, is powered by a 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 motor. Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the motor churns out 610hp along with 760Nm of peak torque. In terms of completing the sprint of 0-100Kmph, the Lusso T is 0.2sec slower than its V12-engined sibling.

The GTC4Lusso gets the four wheel drive system along with the rear-wheel steering. The included FWD system was firstly introduced in the FF. While, the V8-engined sibling, the GTC4Lusso T comes featured with the only rear wheel steering. Dubbed as the 4RM-S, the newly inserted control system grants improved handling and control over the car on any kind of road situations such as snow, wet and other low-grip situations.

Inside the cabin, the GTC4Lusso get a new feature of dual cockpit display which provides a shared driving experience for those seated at the front, from the separated driver cockpit and a passenger cockpit. Other than this, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay, split view, and sat-nav is given for driver’s convenience.
