The Fiat is a name which is not well appreciated in the Indian auto market and the strategy of the company hasn't been able to revive the things for quite some time. The effect could be seen on the sales directly where the graph is at all time low. But, now the company is determined to change the statistics with both hands and hence introducing the new Punto Evo Facelift with a crossover Fiat Avventura as well.
The new Fiat Punto Evo is in completely new look from the front with however same body base. There are new headlamps with peeled shape, 16 inch alloy wheels, side mirror integrated alloy wheels, sportier bumper, larger air dam, bold character and appeal in the car. The interior has also been revamped with the total black theme, dual-tone, glossy black center console, latest infotainment system and much more. However, the steering wheel is at a little odd angle, but is comfortable with the space provided. On the mechanical front, the car is not taking any chances with top of the class 1.3 Litre MultiJet engine, offering 90 bhp power and 209 Nm of torque.
The has many other things as well like Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) for the better performance of the car and ability to cruise at highways. Also, the mileage is decent with 20.5 km/l as per ARAI standards with the top speed of 165 km/h. The price is also a bit moderate with the tag of INR 7.5 Lac Ex-showroom and, I guess, it'll do the business for the Fiat this time for sure.
