Fiat to Launch Punto Successor in 2016-2017

Some years ago, Fiat had launched its Punto hatchback model in India, but due to poor performance the company didn’t get an overwhelming response for this runabout. Hence, for covering up the paucities that were found on this first version, the manufacturer released a next generation model with an identity of Punto Evo in 2014, which has been become one of the best selling cars in the country. Now, the Italian brand has made a plan to bring forward a successor of the existing vehicle that will arise as a tremendous competitor against the likes of Volkswagen Polo and Maruti Swift.
This 5-door hatchback will be set up globally and is likely to arrive in India with the replacement of its current model. Reportedly, the upcoming inheritor would be known as “500 Plus” and will arrive on dealership in Europe in 2016, while it is anticipated to take an entry in the Indian automobile market either in 2016 or 2017. Based on the “New Global Platform’ of Fiat, The Punto successor is expected to receive a gorgeous exterior as well as an enticing interior to make the customers surprised at their first peep.
The all new 500 Plus will inherit the styling patterns from other 500 variants and this most awaited runabout is about to be placed at the middle of standard 500 and 500L mini MPV.
