The India-specs model of the premium hot-hatch, Fiat Urban Cross has been leaked before its official launch in the country. The Urban Cross is scheduled for later this month, but the variant details and the other specs slipped-out ahead of that. Even the pre-bookings for the model have been commenced across all the Fiat dealerships across India with a token amount of INR 21,000.

As per the leaked information, the hatchback will be available in both diesel and petrol variants. The petrol engine is powered by a 1.4-litre T-Jet motor which is capable of producing the maximum power of 140 PS and the peak torque of 210 Nm. Whereas the diesel engine gets 1.3-litre Multijet turbodiesel that gives power and torque output of 93 PS and 209 Nm respectively. The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox in both the variants.

The diesel-powered Urban Cross comes in two trims - Active and Dynamics, whereas the petrol Urban Cross is available in only single variant - Emotion. The long list of the features is yet-to-be-revealed by the company. However, we got the list of some certain features, a touchscreen infotainment display and 16-in alloy wheels are standard across all variants, while automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, dual airbags, ABS and EBD will be offered with the top-end trims.
Outside, the car measures the same as we wrote earlier, 4,000 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height with the ground clearance of 205 mm. Looking for more and sure about the Fiat Urban Cross, wait till the officials pulled the covers off.
