The Delhi Auto Expo 2016 is witnessing the launch of many upcoming luxury cars by the top global automobile firms and following the suite, the German automobile manufacturer, Audi uncurtained its all-new fifth generation Audi A4. The new Audi A4 is expected to hit the Indian market soon and has been revealed along with Audi R8. The Fifth generation Audi A4 has been incorporated with the magnificent design that gives it an elegant look and possess technologies for much greater efficiency, comfort and entertainment.
The new Audi A4 has been made 4,726 mm tall, 1,842 mm wide and has a 2,820 mm long wheelbase and is also 120 kg lighter than its fourth generation Audi A4. It has also been compiled with a class drag efficiency of 0.23 cd. The significant features of Audi A4 include 2016 Audi A4 includes Matrix LED headlights, dynamic turn signals, Audi virtual cockpit with 12.3-inch LCD screen, colour head-up display, Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System that have 19 speakers and 16 channel Class D, 755 watt amplifier and MMI Navigation plus infotainment based on second generation modular infotainment platform with 8.3-inch screen, MMI touch, new, natural voice-control system and Audi smartphone interface for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.
The fifth generation Audi A4 is expected to come up with 2 engines which have 2.0-litre TFSI petrol unit to produces 140 kW (190 HP) and 320 NM of torque and the 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit that produces 140 kW/190 HP and 400 NM of torque. The petrol model with the S Tronic transmission can reach 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 240 km/h. The diesel model can reach 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 210 km/h.
