Harley Davidson India Announces Price Cut for Fatboy and Softail Models

One of the oldest American bike manufacturers, the Harley Davidson has announced the drop in prices of models such as Fatboy and Heritage Softail Classic in its Indian lineup. The bikes will now be priced cheaper by upto Rs 2.5 lakhs. Earlier, the Fat Boy was on sale at 17,01,000 which with the price cut of INR 2.02 lakhs, will now be priced at INR 14,99,990. While, the model Heritage Softail with a reduction of INR 2.51 lakhs will make you spend INR 15,99,990, instead of previous INR 18,50,000 amount. The revised prices will be applicable from 1 Sept 2017 and only on the 2017 calendar year models. All the mentioned prices for the models are applicable at authorized Delhi dealerships.

Under the fuel tank, both the bikes are powered by a similar air-cooled, Twin Cam 103B engine that is rated to churn out 124 Nm of peak torque. All the power output dispatched to the rear wheels with the help of a six speed gearbox. Both the bikes share a huge fuel tank of capacity 18.9 litres. On the weighing scale the Fat Boy touches the mark of 333 kgs and the Heritage Softail Classic weighs 347 kgs respectively.

In the July month this year, the bike maker retails only 9 units of Fat Boy while a single unit of Heritage Softail managed to find a buyer. The reduction in prices of these model will avail the bike maker to approach a wider range of audience. Altogether, Harley Davidson Finance is providing the facility of easy payment through an exclusive Bullet EMI scheme which comprises payments in the form of EMIs and payment of lump sum amount multiple time every year as per the terms of the loan availed.
