Upcoming Harley-Davidson Bikes Patent Designs Surfaced Online

The design drawings of the upcoming Harley-Davidson bikes has been emerged online for which the bike maker filed patent with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. These images are revealing upcoming Harley-Davidson bikes which are certain to launch globally in the coming future. However, the American manufacturer has already announced to introduce several new models including the Harley-Davidson Pan America. It is an adventure tourer which will pack a 1,250 cc v-twin engine. The surfaced patent images also confirming the same -the Pan America model along with others like the Streetfighter and the Custom 1250. Out of three patent images, two are rendering bikes with saree guards which hint they are targeted to the Indian market or may be assembled here.

From the latest patent images, it seems that the Pan-America will follow the design language revealed by Harley-Davidson last year. However, there will so a sort of subtle changes like cast wheels, radiator crash guards, a large, probably adjustable windscreen and off-road style handlebar guards. At the rear, the images hint something like mounting point just under the pillion seat.

Other than this, these set of patent Images reveal v-twin engines for all the three models. However, the displacement for the other two bikes is not disclosed yet. In the patents, there seems a naked roadster which appears to be the evolved iteration of the Street series with a saree guard. While it could pack engine with displacement in the range of 500cc to 1200cc.

There are chances, it could be the Streetfighter, design of which rolled out last year. Also, a bit of similarity with the original concept picture is hinting the same. Other than this, it would feature fat USD fork and a deep belly pan under the engine.

From the images, the third model also seems like a flat-track style cruiser revealed in the concept pictures as like others last year. Feature-wise, it would get Bobber-style fat tyres and all new front fascia almost similar to the Fat Bob.

Moreover, no more details about the models unveiled via these patent drawings are available. The Harley Davidson had already announced the launch of these models in 2020. It is certain that the Harley Davidson have an eye on the Indian market to boost revenue generation and these new models are under development for sure here. We just have to wait until the spy shots of pre-production ready test mules surfaced online later this year.
