Hero Electric introduced an electric scooter named NYX in the Indian two wheeler market. The e-bikes maker has used a different strategy in launching this eco-friendly vehicle and released the first e-bike on an online platform. It is the most economical two wheeler in the Hero Electric stable and is said to be one of the cheapest two-wheeler in the Indian motoring market, which carries the price tag of Rs. 29,990 (on-road).The bike will be sold exclusively on Paytm from June 5 (World Environment Day).
The Hero Electric seems to be confident enough and aims to sell around 1000 e-bikes with in the duration of first two weeks after the NYX launch. In the first phase of launching the Hero Electric NYX, the scooter will make it's presence only in 15 cities across the country.
Optically, The NYX holds enough space for carrying luggage on the flat boards. The bike adopts the decent styling with segregated seating for rider and the pillion. The telescopic front forks and a swingarm linked monoshock at the rear handles the suspension duties. While, the mechanicals has been kept secret and not been disclosed by the bike maker yet.
Mr. Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said for this eco-friendly new e-bike, “Hero is registering a significant rise in demand for its e-bikes. Amid growing awareness about sustainability, we have decided to launch the Hero Electric NYX on World Environment Day to underline the importance of eco-friendly modes of transport.”
The Hero Electric NYX will be handy in two color options-White and Grey that has been offered with free one-year roadside assistance.
