Hero Motocorp Commuters to Get iSmart 110cc Engine

Hero MotoCorp, the largest global two-wheeler maker has exhibited the Splendor iSmart 110 at the passed 2016 Auto Expo. The premium machine has been engineered with the company's freshly developed engine, which the brand is now ready to raise across all of its commuter bikes. The news has been confirmed by the company's chief technology officer Markus Braunsperger.

Apparently, this new striking idea of fitting the iSmart 110cc engine under the fairing is going to be the Hero's latest strategy to improve its basics. Talking about the fresh 110cc motor, the licensed i3S technology generates 9.1PS of power and 9NM of torque, which can be seen on the updated Splendor. The engine is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. If you have carefully observed the promos of Hero Splendor iSmart 110 showcased at the Auto Expo, then you must have watched the tagline 'Fill it, shut it and forget it'. Hence, it is pretty clear that the fuel efficiency power of the engine will be fairly good, with a rough idea of delivering around 100 kmpl mileage.

Hero Passion would probably among the siblings that could get this new motor. As of now, the said bike is equipped with a 109.1cc 4-stroke single-cylinder mill. The company still puts us in disguise about the other details regarding the engine. It's not a big deal to get the iSmart 110cc engine in mid of the rumours revolving around saying that the iSmart technology would soon be introduced in the Super Splendor.
