Hero Motocorp has recently stopped the production of its Maestro across the country. Now the Indian automobile maker only has Hero Duet, Hero Maestro Edge, and Hero Pleasure in its list of automatic scooters and the Maestro has silently been removed from the company’s website.

Talking about the engine specs, the Hero Maestro is powered by a 109cc air-cooled engine paired with a CVT unit, which is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 8.2 PS along with 9.10 NM of peak torque. The axed scooter was just like a renovated Honda Activa, which has been the most loved scooter of the country.

In the Activa lineage, the company now only have its Pleasure in the scooter market, which is blessed with a 102cc engine, same as the first generation Activa. Apart from this, the Hero Maestro Edge and Hero Duet of the company features an 110.9cc engine.

There’s no blank space in the list of automatic scooters of Hero, as the Maestro Edge has brilliantly filled up the space of Hero Maestro. The Hero Maestro Edge has raised its sales numbers more than one lakh just within 6 months of its launch. The company is also about to unveil a new 125cc scooter in the Indian market dubbed as Hero Dare, which was also showcased at 2014 Auto Expo.
