Hero Motocorp Inaudibly launched Splendor Pro Classic, prices Inside

Hero Motocorp has given a surprise for all its fans by showcasing its Cafe-Racer theme based motorcycle at the Auto Expo, 2014 which was held in Delhi in the month of February. The showcased motorcycle belongs to the commuter segment and a newly joined member in the company's Flagship Series of Hero Splendor. The motorcycle is named as Hero Splendor Pro Classic.

At the latest, the manufacturer has launched its all new commuter segment motorcycle in a tacit manner. The Hero Splendor Pro Classic has been launched by the company carrying a price tag of Rs 53,900 (On-Road, Delhi). The Pro Classic has already made its appearance at some dealerships in the country and also started accepting bookings as well. Although, it is the most expensive motorcycle in the Splendor Series but still it comes as a reasonably priced cafe-racer motorcycle.

Technically, the newly launched motorcycle is powered by single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which gives an engine displacement of 97.2cc. The power plant is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and is capable to belt out 7.7BHP of total power @ 7,000 RPM and 8.04Nm of torque @ 4,500 RPM. So far, there are no mechanical changes found in the Hero Splendor Pro Classic. The stopping power has been taken care by drum brakes at both rear and front.

In terms of styling, it seems that the company has done a great job of providing most affordable cafe-racer motorcycle. The Hero Splendor Pro Classic is a perfect blend of design, styling and mechanism. The cherry over the complete cake is its round shaped headlamp and mirrors complementing with chrome mudguard. The company claimed that the Hero Splendor Pro Classic is the first 100cc cafe-racer motorcycle ever manufactured.
