Hero Shows Off Its Next Generation Electric Bike

India's famous and leading two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motor Corp has demoed its coming-in-future electric bike that would be leading the way for the company in the market. This step has been taken after the recent announcement of the Central Budget where the government has given some relief or subsidies to the electric vehicles. The new Hero electric bike is still to be transformed to undergo the production that is still not around the corner for next 10 to 12 months according to the company officials. The bike would also be able to hit the mark of 60 km/h as its top speed and I guess that will get it a few more customers for sure, at least for city commutation I guess.

Powering this bike is a 200W electric motor that is charged by a 48V lead acid battery. As said, this bike can hit the top speed of 60 km/h with the range of 50 Km on a single charge and it takes around 8 hours to charge its battery completely. Well, not a bad deal for in-city transportation! Isn't it?

Coming to the feature it has, this Hero E-Bike comes with LED indicators, digital speedometer, monoshock rear suspension, engine cancel switch, disc brakes and many others as well. However, the Indian 2-Wheeler electric market doesn't have many vehicles to talk about, but this product might change the scenario, still we must wait to know more about this bike.
