Hero to Add Xtreme Sports and Dash in the Lineup by Next Month

With the recent update, the Hero Motocorp has made up their attitude for the next month launching of the variant of lastly launched Xtreme along with a scooter named Dash. Today only, the company had unveiled the Splendor Pro Classic which has been priced at Rs. 53,900. The new Xtreme Sports is estimated to be having a slightly higher cost than the ongoing Xtreme as it bears a “Sports” tag. Both these vehicles along with some others were announced last year in the month of November when the company didn’t disclose the facts behind the launching schedule of them. The vehicles, which were showcased, include new Karizma ZMR and Karizma, Xtreme, HX250R, Hustur and RNT diesel Scooter.

The Dash Scooter uses the Honda developed 110cc 4 stroke engine to develop the power of 8.44BHP @ 7500 RPM and 9.4Nm @ 5750 RPM of torque.  It will be placed above Maestro and the design pattern is made for both male and female riders. Both the wheels are designed to occupy 130mm drums to serve the brake purpose. As the Honda has introduced the CBS (Combined Braking System) for their vehicles, Hero has also brought Integrated Braking System (IBS) for this scooter. It’s another evident showing Hero’s attempt to maintain the image in the industry with brilliant efforts.

The Xtreme Sports will share most of the bits from the ongoing model with some good bits redesigned. The very first impression of differentiation of the two can be seen in the headlight designs. The second change can be noticed in the fuel tank fairing. Apart from these two, most of the stuff seems untouched. The 150cc power house developing 15.2BHP @8500 RPM of power with 12.8Nm @ 6500 RPM of torque is also a point of contrast between the siblings. The engine is, however rumored to be manufactured and designed completely by the Hero Motocorp. The other add-ons include a broader rear tyre, split seats, graphics and position of pilot LED lights.
