As per a circular passed by the Supreme Court on August 28, 2018, all the new two-wheelers and four-wheelers purchased after September 1, 2018, will be provided with a 5 years insurance policies as mandatory. It will definitely raise the prices of all the vehicles on sale by a sufficient amount.
