Tata Motors launches its new concept compact sports utility vehicle Nexon based on X1 platform along with another concept car ConnectNext on Wednesday. ConnectNext points to the future design direction.
Tata Motors display these two cars among the display of 18 vehicles of company's passenger and commercial segment under horizonext program. The Nexon is X1 platform, mix of hatchback, modern SUV. It looks like a hopped-up small car instead of SUV. It designed on the concept of human machine interface technology with smart design.
Nexon is the rival to the Mahindra and Mahindra upcoming S101 and Honda. Tata Motors president of passenger vehicle division announces 4th rank in India in the pecking order. In commercial vehicle segment, Tata Motors launches Prima CX 1618T, LPS 4923 LA and trucks Ultra 614.
Tata Motors commercial head said new products of company will definitely translating into a great and good business for Tata Motors. It also presented an electric Magic which is a commercial passenger vehicle with a charging option at the roof along with solar panel. They presented Starbus Urban FE- Parallel hybrid bus also.
