Honda Cars India Denies Discontinuity of Honda Mobilio

Few days back, we came across some speculated reports hinting about the discontinuity of the Honda Mobilio due to its poor sales graph. As of now, Honda Cars India has denied of making any of such official announcement. The automaker has confirmed that the Mobilio will be sold alongside the upcoming Honda BR-V in the 7-seater crossover segment.

The reason behind such rumours was the upcoming launch of the highly anticipated compact SUV Honda BR-V, as the crossover offers great features that keeps the Mobilio far behind. The new BR-V holds a rugged look and features array of utilities in the interiors. However, in order to bring the Mobilio back on the sales graph, the company will soon bring a facelift version of the Mobilio in the Indian market.

Honda has somehow managed to sell around 3,338 units of Mobilio from August 2015 to January, 2016, as per the sales report of the tenure. Presently, Honda holds a market share of 2.9 percent in the MPV segment. Looking into the segment, Honda Mobilio is the least selling model in the country.

If the company brings a facelift version of the Mobilio, the model will be dressed up with the likes of Honda BR-V along with some top utility attachments. Looking forward to witness a new refreshed Honda Mobilio soon.
