Honda CB300F, taking-off for production

With the patent sketches spreading all over the internet, Honda has finally publicized the production of its upcoming street naked bike. The company has confirmed that the upcoming street naked bike will come out of sketches in the near future and would be riding on the roads pretty soon. The latest bike of the company is based on the naked version of Honda CBR300R, according to the leaked certifications from California Air Resources Board documents. The name of the bike is "Honda CB300F". The company will start the production of this bike shortly and it is also expected that it will get launched by the end of the year 2014 and will go on sale in the United States.

Features and Looks:

The design and looks of Honda CB300F is pretty much similar with the naked version of Honda CBR300R. The bike is sharing some of its visible parts like exhaust tail, seat and mudguards, which is taken from the CBR300r. If you will have a look at Honda CB500F street fighter, you will find CB300F similar to it, especially from the headlamps and the extended fuel tank part. The raised handle bars give this bike a comfortable riding look.

The CB300F is equipped with a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is able to generate 30.4BHP @ 8,500RPM and a maximum torque of 27Nm @ 7,250RPM. The power plant of CB300F gives an engine displacement of 249cc. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission box, which transmitted the power to the rear wheel. The braking system of the bike is taken care by disc brakes at both front and rear.

Well, the expectations of the fans are always high. We'll see what's new Honda is bringing up for the naked bike lovers with its new Honda CB300F. Will it be able to replace the Honda CBR300R, or will it be able to hold against the other upcoming street bikes like Mahindra Mojo or Kawasaki Z250. Time alone will tell us!!
