Buzzing news for all Honda fans located in United Kingdom!! Honda Motorcycles finally announced the all new sports motorcycle Honda CBR300R in the UK along with a price tag of £4,299 (around Rs 4.4 Lakh). The new sports motorcycle is coming along with ABS as a standard version. According to a report, the newly launched sports bike will be available for bookings starting from 4th of August, 2014. Now, let's see how much we need to wait to hear the good news of the arrvial of CBR300R towards Indian roads.
Honda CBR300R gets its power by a 286cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine technology used by the company in this sports bike is the fuel injected technology, which is capable to generate 30.4BHP of power @ 8,500RPM and a maximum torque of 27Nm @ 7250RPM. The motorcycle uses the same single-cylinder power plant, which is provided in other siblings by the company. The major change introduced in the bike is its longer stroke, increasing the power and displacement of the motorcycle.
The Japanese manufacturer has claimed that CBR300R is a lightweight sports bike, as the company had worked a lot while making this bike. The weight of the bike has been reduced by 6.8 kg, which helps to improve the performance of the bike.
Along with this sports bike, the company is providing a complete package of light and comfortable sitting posture for the rider and with high specifications. The Honda CBR300R is £900 less than the Kawasaki Ninja 300. The bike is available with three different color options that are:- Millennium Red, Metallic Blue and Honda Racing Colors paint scheme.
