The Japanese automaker's India branch had a successful 2014 year as it launched the much awaited Mobilio MPV which brought a lot of sales volumes to the company. The Mobilio was placed between Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova to cut up the sales and has successfully done it. Now, the rumors are suggesting that the Honda might launch another MPV in the market just below the Mobilio so that it can counter the sales of recently launched Datsun Go+ MPV as well. However, the pricing should get done very effectively if the company wants to hold the stakes in speedily growing Indian MPV car market.
Talking about Mobilio, it has been offered with enough leg room space, airy cabins with rear door and windows, more than 4 meter length and many other features well. The engines available in it are also very handful we got 1.5 Litre engine in both petrol and diesel variants to lets us have a choice to make the selection. Now, this proposed upcoming MUV might be less than 4 meters in size as to get rebates and other discounts from the government.
Also, talking about the price range, Honda Mobilio has already been offered at INR 7.5 Lac x-Showroom, New Delhi and if the company wants to make this new upcoming below Mobilio MPV successful then it should get priced under this tag, which would be very interesting to see as lower the price gets, less the features are available in it.
