Honda Jazz Racing Concept Revealed at 2016 Auto Expo

After showcasing many fresh and updated cars, first two media days have successfully ended, but so many cars are still waiting to make an impression, which can happen at any moment until the end of the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The same can be seen with Honda Jazz Racing Concept that has been revealed today with a new sporty theme and additional features. Compared to the regular premium hatchback, the company has designed a new paint theme flaunting a red and black color combination to this new racing concept car.

Coming to the features first, this version of Jazz comes with lower suspension, racing wheels, Bridgestone Potenza racing tires shedding 5-spoke alloy wheels, sporty body kit, towing handle, side extension, carbon fibre accents, single exhaust pipe and red stripe vinyl. Along with these, the brand has also replaced the front seats with fresh Recaro bucket seats and rear seats are removed.

The powertrain include both petrol and diesel motor, where the former is packed with a 1.2-liter i-VTEC engine that is capable of generating 88 PS of power, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. While, the latter is offered with a 1.5-litre i-DTEC, which is good for 100 PS of power, coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Honda has also attached a feature named roll cage to protect a passenger from being injured in an accident. Moreover, the Honda Jazz Racing Concept sports a kill switch on the centre console and a new Alcantara MOMO steering wheel is also present.
