The much hyped Honda Mobilio has been displayed in the various shopping malls in India before its dealership arrival at the end of this month. The car is the first venture of the company in India under the MPV segment. Honda has launched this Mobilio MPV to take on with likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Chevrolet Tavera and Toyota Innova as well.
Now, as the response is already coming overwhelming from the customers, Honda is also planning to launch the new sporty Mobilio RS variant soon after the launch of this Prestige model. The new RS model will be different in looking and will be very similar to the one which was launched in the Indonesia recently. The new model will get aggressively designed front and rear bumper, side skirts, enhanced airdams, dual-slat chrome grille, new HID headlight cluster projector lights, chrome exhaust finish, 15-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler as well. On the interiors, the Mobilio RS will have a 6.1 inch center screen, reverse camera and tweeters with full-black inside theme.
However, the Mobilio RS will get the same engine as in Mobilio Prestige, that is 1.5 Litre diesel and petrol which has been borrowed from the India's most fuel-efficient car Honda City. The price of RS model will be INR 70,500 more than that of the launching Mobilio version. The RS model is very much on the cards, but we the buyers first have to taste the Honda Mobilio Prestige model which company is flaunting everywhere in the country.
