Honda Reintroduces Effectual CB Unicorn at Delhi Auto Expo

The Indian arm of Japanese automaker, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, officially discontinued the Honda CB Unicorn in the first half of the previous year. The reason behind to pull back the one of the most reliable and successful commuter bike from the Honda stable, was the introduction of CB Unicorn 160 in December 2014, and the availability of CB Trigger in the same commuter segment. The likes of the Honda commuters were in the vague to opt the one from three. So automaker decided to pull back the old version of CB Unicorn from the market.

When both CB Unicorn 160 and CB Trigger not get succeeded in continuing the success history of CB Unicorn then automaker decided to relaunch its most successful CB Unicorn at the price tag of INR 67,028 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo is the best place to relaunch the motorcycle and surprise the CB Unicorn lovers. This CB Unicorn commuter offering will be available in three paint schemes- Black, Red and Silver and anticipated to roll out to sell by the March month this year.

Gazing over the Powertrain, the propelling power will come from a 150cc, single cylinder engine. The churns power of 13 BHP and torque of 13Nm will accelerate the commuter, the engine is mated to a five-speed transmission to transfer power to the rear wheel.

The automaker will roll out this 150cc motorcycle in between the Shine SP and the CB Unicorn 160 in the heated commuter segment to grab the likes of CB Unicorn again.
