Honda to Launch CBR650F at Revfest on August 4, 2015

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has organized an event 'Revfest', where the firm will uncover its anticipated motorcycle, named CBR650F. This event has been scheduled for August 4, 2015 where the CBR650F will make its domestic entry. The booking of the motorcycle has already started for an amount of Rs 50000 and will deliver after the launching. The price of quarter-liter motorcycle will be around Rs. 8 Lakhs. Moreover, the motorcycle will be brought in the Indian shores via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route from the Honda's manufacturing facility and will be assembled in India carrying five percent of localisation. Apart from this, the firm might announce about its upcoming launches which include Honda CB300F, CB500F, CBR300R and CBR500.

In terms of technical bits, the Honda CBR650F comes power by an in-line, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled and 649cc displacement engine, which returns a maximum power of 87 BHP at 11000 RPM and a peak torque of 63 Nm at 8000 Revs. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. The top speed of this motorcycle is 225 KMPH, which is pretty much amazing, while it accelerates the speed in just 4 seconds from 0-100 KMPH.

Moreover, the motorcycle uses a rear shock spring loaded suspensions and a front 41mm up-front forks. And, the stopping power comes from its 320mm twin-piston caliper disc at the front and 240mm single-piston caliper disc brake at the rear, while the Anti-lock Braking System is standard in the motorcycle. Furthermore, the Honda CBR650F will come in the field against to the highly performance rivals named Kawasaki Ninja 650R, Hyosung GT 650, Kawasaki ER6N and Benelli TNT 600GT.
