Huawei to Launch New Ultra-powerful Kirin Chipset Series

There is no doubt about the fact that quality of Chinese products have improved with the time and the most significant area is the telecom. And, one of the popular companies among the industry is Huawei which has raised its reputation among the big names like Qualcomm, Intel and MediaTek. Now, the company is about to launch 2 new chipset in the market named as Kirin 940 and Kirin 950 and they are successors of already available in market Kirin 930 chipset. With these products, Huawei is eying to partnership with Google for the upcoming Nexus series. The launch of these products are due in 3rd and 4th quarter of the year.

Both the chipset will be having i7 Co-processor with ARM Cortex-A72 processor design as well. Talking about the technical specifications, they are quad-core chipset with QuadA53 and QuadA72 able to hit the speed up to 2.2 GHz. They also support LPDDR4 dual-channel RAM with the thundering processing rate of around 25.5 GB/s. The camera supports is also good with Kirin 930 supporting 32MP and it's 42MP for Kirin 950 along with 4K video playback for both as well.

There are many more functions available which can be performed by these next-generation chipset and the launch is expected in 3rd quarter for the Kirin 930 and in 4th quarter for Kirin 940 as we mentioned earlier. The prices are, however, not out yet, but they are supposed to be high according to the features they get.
