Hyundai Launches Tucson with FWD system In India at Rs 25.19 Lakh

Hyundai India introduced an Intellimatic four-wheel drive trim of the Tucson in its existing lineup. The price for this new trim is Rs 25.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Also, the bookings have already commenced across the country. For your information, the 4WD option will only be offered with a top-end 2.0-litre GLS automatic variant. With the offered 'On-Demand 4WD functioning' the SUV automatically analyzes the need for 4WD to be engaged depending upon the nature of the terrain and successfully accomplishes traction control on the rear wheels. Without the intervention of driver, the engine easily transmits the power to all the wheels equally.

The company claims that the on-demand 4WD makes the SUV more cost friendly along with changes made on the mechanical part. There is an option to activate 4WD lock mode manually, which consequently distributes 50:50 of torque to both the front and rear wheels. Additionally, the Advanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) is also provided to send the utmost torque to the wheel possessing the maximum grip.
