Hyundai Starts National Road Safety Week From 23-30 April

Hyundai Motor India has declared a national road safety week starting from 23 April till 30 April across India. Existing customers of the company can visit the camp and make your 20-point safety check-up free at the recognized workshops in India. The South Korean company will be encouraging its #BeTheBetterGuy campaign which was declared at Auto Expo 2018 in order to make people understand the importance of road safety.

The carmaker announces Road Safety Week 2018 in Indian service network for following purposes:

#BeTheBetterGuy campaign in order to encourage road safety
Encourage customers and youths towards safe driving exercises
More than 1300 workshops in India to encourage people about safety habits while driving

The campaign is initiated in New Delhi. The road safety initiatives of the company are started with the aim to encourage traffic rules and aware people about safe driving practices. The campaign will render knowledge to its customers at all service centers with the establishment of 1300 workshops in the pan-India initiative. This program will provide a 20-point safety checkup for the vehicles of the company at all organized centers.

At the weekend, the sales and service camps will be arranged in residential societies and Resident Welfare Associations and children will be acknowledged through slogan and drawing competition regarding the Traffic Safety theme.

It will be helpful for customers who want to see improvement. The #BeTheBetterGuy video will be displayed at various dealership outlets and the initiative will comprise Whatsapp, SMS and facebook notifications, Don’t Drink & Drive, Avoid Under Age Driving, and eliminate mobile phone use while driving. Hyundai Motor India Ltd mentioned on the week-long service camp and said,” As a ‘Socially Responsible Corporate’, Hyundai has always been committed to advocating Road safety and safe driving. We have been working in the area of road safety through our Safe Move campaign since 2015. Road safety knowledge is a key life skill and we want to educate everyone, including children from a very young age, the good road, and driving behavior. We are doing multiple activities through our extensive pan India network to engage with communities to make road safety a mass movement. When everyone observes road safety, every drive becomes a brilliant drive.”

He further said that has touched more than 200,000 students in 23,000 residents across 292 schools, more than 35,000 Mall visitors, over 200,000 students, 146 RWA’s, 35,000+ visitors and 14 malls in India while arranging the Krackerjack Karnival in New Delhi.
