This year, Hyundai is celebrating its 20th anniversary in India by launch two much anticipated special edition models named Hyundai Grand i10 and Xcent, which will begin from April. The former is expected to be launched after consecutive month. Hyundai Motor India Limited has completed its glorious two decades in the country. The automaker is extremely happy to release these two special editions models this year. The true dedication towards the Indian consumers took the korean automaker to become the second largest automaker in India.
The managing director of HMIL, YK Koo released a statement saying, “2016 is important for us. To celebrate 20 years of our success, we will introduce a special edition of Xcent this April at a competitive price for Indian customers. In May, we will roll out a special edition of i10, with new features and styling.”
Hyundai launched the noted i20 special edition last year on its first anniversary event itself. As of now, the upcoming special edition models are likely to receive some minor cosmetic changes, and additional features on the interior side. In order to enhance the overall look of the car, the automaker might bring it in with latest additions such as sport pedals, seat covers, special floor mats, door sill plates, and parcel tray.
Recently, the automaker also confirmed that the new Elantra is also in making and will be seen soon in the dealerships by August 2016. Hyundai is looking forward to enter the compact SUV market as well. We have also heard that the automaker will also develop the production model of the Carlino concept that was unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo while the new Tucson compact SUV will be launched by the end of this year.
