Hyundai Verna 2020 Facelift Spotted on Testing

After getting the good response from the new-generation Hyundai Verna sedan that was launched in August 2017, now the South-Korean maker is planning to launch a Hyundai Verna facelift which is scheduled to hit in the Indian roads in the second half of 2020. Even the car maker has started working on the new Hyundai Verna 2020 facelift.

Recently, the Hyundai Verna 2020 facelift has been spotted on testing revealing the minor design details of the upcoming sedan. As per the information surfaced on the internet, it is being speculated that the new Hyundai Verna 2020 facelift version will come with extensive sheet metal change. The new sedan is likely to come with a new grille, new fender, new hood from the rear and front side. Inside the cabin, the car will be having a new dashboard, new centre console and more great features. The upcoming sedan is said to come with the next-generation infotainment system along with advanced telematics.

If a report is to be believed then the new Hyundai Verna 2020 facelift is likely to be available in two engine options: a 1.5L petrol and a 1.5L diesel. Out of these - the diesel engine will generate a power of 115bhp and 250 Nm of torque, which seems to be more better than the current 1.6L unit. However, the petrol engine is synchronized to a 48V hybrid system making it ready for the year 2023.

With minor changes in features, design and engine, the new Hyundai Verna 2020 facelift is to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model. The outgoing petrol engine variants of the sedan are available for purchase between Rs 7.89 lakh to Rs 12.65 lakh while the diesel engine variants are available for purchase in the price tag of Rs 9.59 lakh to Rs 12.85 lakh.
